No cheesy impersonations,
no poodle-skirted "teenagers", no Fonzie.
For too long, most 50's shows
have resembled a sugar-coated,
sanitized, cartoon version of someone's else's idea of the fifties.
This show strips all of that away and gets back to the sound and
fury of what many thought was "the devil's music".
The stories behind the artists,
the songs and the time period are rich, deep, and plentiful. Freddy
Vette weaves together a journey for the audience with these stories,
highlighted by note perfect renditions of the biggest hits.

"Re-energizing Rock
& Roll from the 1950's" isn't just a slogan, it is this band's
rallying cry.
Thumping stand-up bass, wailing sax,
electric guitar, drums, boogie-woogie piano=Rock & Roll. Freddy
Vette & the Flames have all these elements and deep respect for the
musicians that first made the music.
Elvis,
Buddy, Little Richard, Jerry Lee, Fats.
Artists so great, everyone
knows them by their first names. They still sell millions.
Re-creating their music (and others), when most of them are no
longer here to do it, is a responsibility this band does not take
lightly.
Taking the music from the record, back to
the stage in front of a live audience is where rock & roll is at its
best. This band does it with great attention to detail. Not trying
to improve on perfection but duplicating it.
Jukebox Hits Live with Freddy Vette & The
Flames pays tribute to the music that started it all. Over 50 years
later, they help keep Rock & Roll looking eighteen and fabulous!
